SAND AND SKY Mask Review
What is it?
The Australian brand used to just sell just one product: The Brilliant Skin Purifying Pink Clay Mask. I got gifted this because I emailed them to collaborate. I was so excited because this mask seemed really promising. It claims to detoxify and brighten skin in only 10 minutes, tightening pores and boosting radiance.
Who’s it for?
The ingredient list boasts Kaolin (that "magic" Australian Clay), aloe vera, and vitamin A. The mask also contains glycerin, which helps to attract moisture to the skin; limonene, which is used in many fruit enzyme peels; and lactic acid, which helps to reduce breakouts. So if you have active breakouts and blackheads, apparently this is for you.
What’s the verdict?
First of all, I used this all over my face 2-3 times per week for 2 weeks and it was just too drying. The tub came half empty which apparently is the norm. Since it was so drying, I only used it as spot treatment every 2-3 days and that really helped detox my odd pimples. However, if i overuse the spot treatment then it irritates my skin and worsens my breakouts.
After using it a couple of times, despite closing it properly, the product goes dry so you’ll be expected to add a little water or spray your beauty face mist into it.
Price?
It’s 69.90 AUD which to me I find a pricey considering my experience. Ultimately,
