Real-U Products Review

What is it?

This Real-U brand states “For the first time we are able to deal with oily and breakout prone skin without the use of the "2 common nasties" (Benzoyl peroxide and Salicylic acid) found in most acne products, which can compromise your skin’s health and cause irritation.” followed by a non existent ingredients list because they want to keep the secret to themselves HAHAHA wow. Seems very sketchy already.

Who’s it for?

It’s targeting individuals with oily, acne prone skin. Says it comes without side effects (lol) . Aims to regulate oils through its ‘unique breakthough skincare technology’.

What’s the verdict?

I used real u products for TWO AND HALF WEEKS, and it only made my skin worse! Both my cheeks that had already broken out of cystic pimples became more inflamed . My skin became more congested and oily.

Anyways my friend tagged me in their post asking me if these products worked and I responded in a very kind manner, "they didn't work for me but I heard really good reviews from others. Everyone's skin is different" I then find out that my comment was deleted and I was blocked from commenting on their Instagram and fb posts.

I find it really disheartening and disappointing because people are under this false impression that ‘realu-u’ products work for everyone. I wasted $100+ on these products and wasn't fazed at all (because the truth is not all products are suitable for my unique skin, which is normal) but this experience got me angry haha. I despise companies that aren't truthful to their customers. While it may work for others, I do not support misleading companies who only serve to make profit off acne prone sufferers like myself. Very disappointing unfortunately.

How much is it?

Each products range from $22-$40, the entire kit is about $119.
